If the hard disk indicator is green, go to Windows Disk Management to initialize the hard drives, or use the MAC disk utility to erase the external device;
Only use the Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter provided by Apple. Any other adapters will not work;
The cable connecting the computer to this device must be a certified Thunderbolt 2 cable.
Install the RAID controller driver;
Select a recommended hard drive from the list of compatible drives.
Install the RAID controller driver;
Do not connect to USB Type-C interface.
After the RAID is created, if the hard drive indicators flash red and the computer fails to recognize the hard drives, the RAID has not been created successfully. The following steps should thus be taken:
Delete the incomplete RAID in the RAID Manager Pro menu;
Select "Logical", then select "Create Array";
Select "Array Type", then select "Quick Init" as the initialization method. Select the drives and click "Create";
Try to initialize the new RAID in Windows Disk Management, or in Mac Disk Utility.
Continuous beeping: Indicates a RAID member is missing or a hard drive failure has occurred.
