Failed to create a RAID?

After the RAID is created, if the hard drive indicators flash red and the computer fails to recognize the hard drives, the RAID has not been created successfully. The following steps should thus be taken:

  • Delete the incomplete RAID in the RAID Manager Pro menu;

  • Select "Logical", then select "Create Array";

  • Select "Array Type", then select "Quick Init" as the initialization method. Select the drives and click "Create";

  • Try to initialize the new RAID in Windows Disk Management, or in Mac Disk Utility.
