How can I get my computer to access my TNAS device?

Your computer accesses your TNAS device over the network. To access TNAS, you need to know the IP address of your TNAS device. For convenience, it is recommended to install the TNAS PC desktop application to search for and access TNAS. To store files, please click “File Manager” on TNAS PC desktop application, log in to TOS, and click “Login” on TNAS PC desktop application. You can also use the Samba file service on a Windows computer by entering the IP address of your TNAS device in the file browser (e.g., \\192.168.0.1) or use the AFP file service on a Mac OS computer by entering the IP address of your TNAS device (e.g., AFP:\\192.168.0.1). To log in to TOS for configuration of your TNAS device, you can enter the IP address of your TNAS device in the address bar of the web-based browser.
