Normally, yes. However, TerraMaster DAS may be incompatible with some older hard drives due to differences in RAID configurations. Such hard drive may not be read successfully or may throw up abnormal indicators.

In such cases, you should back up any data on the hard drive and then use the D2-310/D4-300/D4-310/D5-300C/D5-300 to initialise and format the hard drive.
