You should reset your device as follows:

• 1. Install the hard drive on your TerraMaster NAS, then turn it on and connect it to the powered-on computer.

• 2. Turn the RAID knob to the RAID mode required, then press and hold "RESET" for 5 seconds to allow the new RAID settings to take effect; then, initialise and format the disk in the "Disk Management" options for your computer.

• 3. If the device continues to have issues after performing these operations, please repeat these operations at least twice.
