Does the D4-310 support RAID5 with four hard drives?

No. This device supports 1 disk array and two single disks. Disks 1 and 2 can be used to create arrays of RAID0, RAID1 and Single types, while disks 3 and 4 can only be used in Single mode. It is not possible to bundle four hard drives together to create a RAID5.
